North Texas Skeptics is a local, autonomous organization devoted to promoting the use of science and rational thinking in viewing the world in which we live. Members include students, faculty, and individuals who support exploring paranormal and pseudoscientific claims from a responsible and scientific point of view. While members do not reject claims of the paranormal out-of-hand, we do insist on the well founded philosophy that extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.
